RBL Bank Prime Savings Account focuses on providing better banking options for the individuals. This scheme provides its subscribers with the facilities like internet banking, mobile banking and phone banking. Also, the subscribers are issued with a free chequebook of 20 leaves every month.
RBL Bank Prime Savings Account highlights:
The minimum balance required for Metro/Urban branches is Rs 5000, for Semi-rural branches is Rs 2500 and for rural branches is Rs 1000.
The interest rate comes with it is 5.1% per year which is payable on a half yearly basis.
The account holder is provided with Domestic ATM Debit card and International ATM Debit card.
RBL Bank Prime Savings Account features:
It provides the subscribers with the benefit of free and unlimited ATM transactions from any bank ATMs.
Subscribers having a balance of Rs 10,00,000 and above in their account will be provided with an interest rate of 7.1% yearly. On the other hand, those with a minimum balance of Rs 1,00,000 or more will be benefited with an interest rate of 6.1% per annum.
Subscribers can withdraw an amount of Rs 50,000 daily and the Point of Sale (POS) limit is set Rs 1, 00,000 per day.
Fees and charges:
The Domestic Debit Card is issued for free, whereas the International Debit Card issuing fee is Rs 150.
If the card gets lost, the replacement fee for both Domestic and International Card is Rs 50. On the other hand, if the card gets damaged, they are replaced for free.
The balance enquiry charges and cash withdrawal charges for International VISA ATMs is Rs 25.
The account holder has to pay Rs 100 as an annual fee for possessing their Domestic as well as International Debit card.
The ESC return charges Rs 200 per instrument.
The subscriber is allowed to perform unlimited transactions within RBL for free.
The collection of RBL cheque within the branch is free of cost. And the collection of outstation cheques brought within the branch costs Rs 50 per transaction. On the other hand, the collection of outstation cheques brought to a non-branch also costs Rs 50 per transaction.
There is no fine charged for cheques deposited and returned due to technical reason. But for those returned due to financial reason is charged with Rs 100 per instrument.
Rs 2 per leaf will be charged after you have consumed your free limit for chequebook.
Transferring funds through NEFT/RTGS will cost nothing if it is done via net banking. If you are transferring funds through NEFT through the branch itself, the first five transactions made are free. From the sixth transaction, additional charges will be applied as per the rules set by RBI.
If you are transferring funds through RTGS through the branch itself, the first transaction made is free. From the second transaction onwards, additional cost of Rs 25 will be charged per transaction.
Rs 25 will costs for generating balance statement.
The SMS services are provided for Rs 15 for one quarter.
If the subscriber wants a copy of his/her old cheque, he/she will have to pay Rs 50 for every request. On the other hand, Rs 50 will be charged for requesting a paid cheque report.
