Advantage Women's Savings Account, a scheme started by ICICI Bank provides an opportunity for working women class to open a savings account. It focuses on the needs of financially sound women generation with the likes of special rewards, shopping benefits and a wide range of other exciting features.

Highlights of Advantage Women's Savings Account:

  • Requires a minimum balance of Rs 10,000 for opening an account
  • Interest Rate of 4% annually
  • Online banking, mobile banking (app available), nomination facility along with bill pay facility
  • Benefits of ICICI Bank MasterCard Debit Card applied
  • No cash withdrawal charges
  • It also provides with Multi-City Chequebook (MCC) free of charges.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Women of 18 years and above
  • Indian citizen
  • For joint account, the woman must be a primary applicant

Main Features:

  • One can withdraw as much amount they want from ATMs (any BANK) all over India as there is no limit set on the withdrawal of cash.
  • It provides with the facility like 'Money Multiplier'. If the account holder possesses any excess money in the savings account, it can be automatically transferred to his/her fixed deposit account.
  • The amount transaction is applicable from every ICICI branches all over India

Fee and charges:

  • Penalty charges for not maintaining a minimum balance:
    • Above Rs 5000, but less than Rs 10,000, the bank will charge Rs 250
    • Less than Rs 5000, the bank will charge Rs 350
  • The bank will deduct Rs 150 yearly as the Debit card fee from both the Joint and First Account holder
  • The account holder can spend Rs 100,000 daily both domestically and internationally
  • The account holder can withdraw Rs 50,000 daily both domestically and internationally
  • Additional Chequebook charges Rs 20
  • Rs 15 quarterly for SMS alerts
  • First four transactions made are free (from branches in the same city). After that, Rs 90 will be charged
