RBL Bank Prime Edge Savings Account has been introduced to provide the users with the benefits of hospitals and healthcare services. It comes with a wide range of deals along with some value added services which make banking much easier and enjoyable.
With the likes of Vidal Health, RBL Bank Prime Edge Savings Account scheme benefit the users with 10-20% discount on medical diagnosis and medical charges.
The subscriber will be provided with medical assistance and services from 6000 hospitals and 1500 diagnostic centers all around the country.
Account holders can avail an extended limit on higher withdrawal limits and for ordering DDs.
RBL Bank Prime Edge Savings customers can enjoy banking with the likes of free bill payment facilities, internet banking and unlimited ATM transactions from their bank's ATM units.
Fees and charges:
The Domestic Debit Card is issued for free, whereas the International Debit Card issuing fee is Rs 150.
If the card gets lost, the replacement fee for both Domestic and International Card is Rs 50. On any damage, both these cards can be replaced for free.
Subscribers having can withdraw an amount of Rs 50,000 daily from Domestic as well as International Debit Card.
The balance enquiry charges and cash withdrawal charges for International VISA ATMs is Rs 25.
The ESC return charges Rs 200 per instrument.
The collection of RBL cheque within the bank is free of cost. And the collection of outstation cheques brought within the branch is free for two transactions per month. The third transaction onwards costs Rs 50 per transaction.
Collection of outstation cheques brought to a non-branch is free for the first transaction, but costs Rs 50 per transaction from second transaction onwards.
Transferring funds through NEFT and RTGS will cost nothing.
Transferring funds through DD from RBL branches, the first five transactions made are free. From the sixth transaction, additional charge of Rs 50 will be applied per transaction.

If the account holds a balance of more than 50% of the average balance required, then the bank will deduct 5% from the balance. On the other hand, if the balance is less than 50% of the average balance required, then the bank will deduct 10% from the balance.
The request for duplicate passbook and duplicate statement invites no additional charges.
Rs 25 will cost for generating balance statement.
The SMS services are provided by the bank free of cost.
If the subscriber wants a copy of his/her old cheque, he/she will have to pay Rs 50 for every request. On the other hand, Rs 50 will be charged for requesting a paid cheque report.
If a subscriber tends to close the account within the 14 days from opening an account, no charges are applied. Whereas, if the account is closed after 14 days but within 6 months from opening an account, he/she will be charged with Rs 500.
