PF Status

For checking the EPF balance online and searching the EPFO office in your state, you can open the link Also, if you have switched job, you can always look for the EPFO offices under your old office PIN code. The page will ask to fill in information such as Employee name, Employee PF account number, and the employee's valid mobile number to get the full details of your account.

Get your PF number

It is an alpha-numeric code where the first two letters state the regional office.

Like for DL/54321/9876. Here DL is the regional office code. It is recommended that one should always choose DL as the regional office code.

Selecting the EPFO office code

Open the EPFO website and then select the state and EPFO office code form the list.

Selecting the PF Details

This requires the following details like the Extension code (if you possess), PF Account number, the 7-digit Establishment code, name of the subscriber as per mentioned in the salary pay slip and the valid mobile number.

Getting SMS from EPFO

After successfully filling up the form and submission, the EPFO server will send you an SMS on your given mobile number. The SMS includes your account number and the total balance remaining in your PF account.
