SCUF features two FD schemes:
From minor, senior citizens to a Hindu undivided family, firms and cooperation, anyone can open a FD account at SCUF.
A minimum sum of 5000 INR and a minimum sum of 10,000 INR is required to be deposited to have a FD account in cumulative and non-cumulative schemes respectively. There isn’t any maximum limit, however, the amount needs to be deposited in the multiples of thousand rupees. On reaching its maturity value, one can renew the cumulative FDs.
Apart from nomination facility, ECS facility is also offered on FDs.
The FDs are offered under the Cumulative as well as Non-Cumulative modes.

From the first to the fifth year, the terms of FD remains the same. The return rates start to differ from the commencement of the second year. The monthly interest rates per annum under this scheme would be 7.49% for 1 year, 7.58% for 2 years, 7.72% for 3 years, 7.86% for 4 years, 7.95% for 5 years.
An added benefit of 0.25% is featured for senior citizens aged above 60 years.
