The short-term holding is 30 days for which returns are pegged at 4.5%. For the tenures of two to three months, the returns are set at 6.5% and 7% for the tenure of four months. For six months, it is pegged at 7.25%, and for nine months, it is 7.75% per annum.
For the tenures of one to two years, the long-term returns of 7.75%. It is 7.5% for the holding of two to five years, and it eventually deceases to 7.25% for the tenure of five years and above.
From the above-mentioned returns, the senior citizens get an extra 0.5% for their tenures six months and whereas, the returns remain unchanged for the tenures of two to four months.
