Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank (APGB)is a regional rural bank headquartered at Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. The bank’s operations are currently present in five districts of Andhra Pradesh. In 2006 this Scheduled Commercial Bank was founded as an effort by the government to provide banking facilities in Rayalaseema region. Three rural banks, namely, Rayalaseema Grameena Bank, Sri Anantha Grameena Bank and Pinakini Grameena Bank came to hold hands and form APGB (Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank). Almost all the rural regions of Andhra Pradesh are catered to by the bank. The area of operation of the bank is confined to one states—Andhra Pradesh.
